The Winter Park Martinky resort is also magical because it has a rich history. It continues the tradition of skiing at Martinské hole, which has lasted for a whole century. Our guide Igor Dobrovolný will tell you about the history of skiing during a tour at the resort.
You will learn about the construction of the first chalets at Martinské hole, get acquainted with the history of ski lifts and also learn the story of the RATRAC SR – 300 snowmobile (1975) from Switzerland. There is a story associated with the vehicle that it was also at the XII Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, where it was modified for the expected visit of US President Gerald Ford.
GUIDED TOUR
The group tour lasts 45 minutes, during which you will walk around the ski resort area with a guide. The start and end is at the Nová Ponorka restaurant. Reservations must be made in advance by calling the resort’s infoline: +421 43 430 6000 and can then be ordered via the e-shop.

- fee is for the entire group, up to 25 people
